Spore Experiments

One of my favorite things to do is to examine the underside of mushroom caps, where vibrant colors and unique structures await discovery. Most common mushrooms showcase traditional gills or a spongy pore surface. These contain spores. To create a stunning spore print, simply slice off the stem , place it top-down on a piece of paper, and leave it overnight. Carefully lift off to reveal a delicate, powdery masterpiece. You never know what you will find!
